Another damn nuisance call. Some recorded woman's voice trying to convince me there are two fraudulent transactions on my bank account, press number one to get details etc. As it happened, I'd just been checking my bank account online, but I wouldn't have believed her anyway, as that's not the way my bank would contact me. This pathetic scam originated from a number in Knighton, a small town in Powys about ten miles from my house. Whoever you are, try and get a life!

I rarely use the home phone with my mobile being the primary contact so interested to find out who is calling.

Just had a call from this number. He said he was from 3 and was offering me an upgrade for my phone and cheaper monthly payments. I asked him to confirm the first line of my address and he said, you should know it and put the phone down.
They're pretending to be iD Mobile but they're not, god knows how they're finding what mobile service we're with to try and make the text message look genuine. This number is a scammer talking from an automate robot saying the persona called is going to be arrested for tax fraud and so on. And so invite you to press 1 (which I highly recommend not to) before they take any actions.

This appears to be a bank scam with claims that "your visa card has been charged £500+ on an amazon purchase, and another charge as well. and to press 1 (I think) On phoning back, the number is not reccognised. Interestingly, my own phone number is 014195632xx.
Claiming to be Printers Technical support... Took over PC tried to sell me antivirus, came back an hour later and mouse was moving on its own with all my documents open!
