They are calling "from BT" claiming that my pc is infected, they will ask for online access to my pc, they will take control of it only handing it back when I pay a fee - despicable scumbags

Rung today from this number claiming to be BT Technical Dept saying my line was to be disco9nnected because of a security compromise. Indian (?) female voice

I get a call at least twice a week and I m sure it s the same company as well but I ve never had ppi claim thing, but when you call the number back it says something about claiming a delayed holiday fight. I ve not been on holiday for over 11 years. I ve repeatedly asked for my number to be taken off the system. But when I ask for the company s name or to speak to the manager, they hand the phone up. Called me but i didnt answer. Called back and the automated message said i was called today from RK Legal regarding my car crash (never had one) Pressed 9 to not be called back but assuming they were trying to sell me stuff (Im on the TPS so totes illegal!)

Got my name wrong. Hung-up when I asked who is calling. Used 1471 to identify number.

somebody who works for the phone company told me they purposely have setup computers to automatically call peoples houses and then hang up. they said it makes the phone company profit by people simply answering and hanging up due to the lines being used. its a timewasting tactic. simply ignore it

I have a trueCall installed for my mother best investment ever!!! She has had 41 calls from this number since July. Coincidently, or possibly not, this number started calling after she replied to an advert in the local paper for a free hearing aid. Since replying to the advert here unsolicited calls have gone up from 40 to 80 a month. All blocked fortunately. Out of interest I dialled the number and got an American female voice saying this number is not in service. If anyone gets a call from this number o

I ve been getting calls from these scammers for close on 6 months now, quite often twice a day. I tried reporting them to BT s nuisance call bureau and they tried to sell me a phone that block international calls!!! It s strange how BT outsources a lot of it s services to India , (BT customer services, etc) and the scamming calls are also coming from India? I ve even had one of these scammers say he was with BT Internet, instead of the usual "I m from Windows services" or "I m from Microsoft Windows service

A woman cold-called asking about my "recent accident". There hadn t been one. She was fishing for information, but one wonders where she got the phone number. Their number is now blocked.

A few minutes after my last nuisance call, which was from the Talk Talk impersonators, I got this one - from the p.p.i. pests using a number they had not used for me before. Only a couple of days ago their recorded message was saying it was their final attempt to contact me, but telling lies is habitual for them. I estimate I have had a hundred calls from these people. I look forward to the day they are prosecuted. They are making money out of people s naivety so I hope they get fined heavily.
