A text apparently from HSBC saying a payment was attempted from a new device, if this wasn’t me, go online to hs-payee-bankingonline-supportalert.com/login/. I didn’t open the link. Not only that, it’s a company credit card and they don’t have my personal telephone number. So obviously a scam.

Claimed to be the bank. Said there were large deductions from our account and to press one to agree to the amounts. So I put the phone down!

Fraud - electronic voice message saying I was being investigated for tax evasion by HMRC and a warrant had been issued for my arrest.
When I call from my home number, it displays at the other end as 0208366821!

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. 100% this number is Doncaster Prison inmates outbound only phone. So it will most probably someone you know that is trying to contact you. My boyfriend is in their thsts how I can guarantee it is Doncaster Prison outbound prisoners phone.
We got a call from this number at 2.20am which woke us up with a fright. Recorded message saying ‘Can you hear me?’ And no response when sleepily replied. Really annoying - couldn’t get back to sleep afterwards for hours. No idea what the purpose of it was.
