Indian man rang me at about 10:30am 26/7/2021 saying that they'd just been upgrading my Broadband and noticed spam being sent to me and hacker activity. Wanted me to turn on my computer. I put the phone down. Have fallen for one of these scams before with someone getting me to download AnyDesk in order for the caller to remotely take over control of my laptop. BEWARE!!

It is one of those days.....I have had three of these calls in one morning when exceptionally busy. Criminals make up these numbers - all fake and nearly always different - to call me to try to persuade me to fall for their story that there is something wrong with my computer or internet connection. Their aim is to persuade me to believe their lies and allow them to infect it with something that would be very serious if I fell for their story that they represent Talk Talk or B.T. It varies. A man called Ricki called me with a scam saying my computer was being used by criminals to get all my data. When I phoned call back BT had recorded the call from 07403655570
Got an unsolicited call from this number. Did not pick up the phone but dialled 1471 to find out the number that had called me. Turned out to be Solution Marketing of Nottingham so I have complained to the TPS with whom my landline is registered.

I texted back to say they d got a wrong number but apparently their number doesn t recieve text messages, although it does seem to be able to send them! FRAUD. Robocall claiming it is Social Security Administration and that your social security number has been suspended due to fraudulent activity, that all benefits will be cut off. If you press '1' to get to one of the agents it is always an indian. I always press 1 to read them the riot act concerning fraud and robocallers contacting those on national do not call registry.
