Repeated caller, left no message, assume telemarketing or scam

Like others used Anglian in the past. They call every month from different numbers even when you tell them you don?t want anything. They came round last week because ?they were in the area?. Very annoying. They sound desperate and for that I?m sad.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. This number claimed to be maidstone police,which i thought was odd as it does not matter where abouts in Kent the police are calling from, they always identify themselfs as Kent police then say what staion they are from,i phoned Kent police and they claimed its a Hoax number.
