A woman with a West African accent phoned me at 4.30 pm on 12th July 2012. She asked me how my "claim" was progressing and whether she could help. Obviously a telemarketing call because there was the usual buzz of conversation in the background. The annoying thing is that I m on the Telephone Preference List of people who should *NOT* be contacted by telemarketers. Unfortunately, it doesn t seem to have worked in this case. I have received so many calls from those people. I have once spoke with a woman, I told her to stop bothering me, she says "OK, you want be called anymore". Few days ago I got a call from the same people, this time was an Indian guy. I explain to him that I don t want to talk to him and he kept speaking, I told him that I have opted for TPS, and he says to me "That s not a problem, I just want to explain you what we offer". This number called while I was out. I did not have time for checks when I got home (most calls I get are of the nuisance variety) so did not ring back. Afterwards I discovered it was the Talk Talk imposters who have been bothering me for a couple of years.

this is a computer dialling numbers randomly. if no call centre staff are available to take the call it hangs up the call. ofcom should ban these calls.

Answered this call, not for the first time, and they just hang up. They don't seem to be able to manage their nuisance calls properly let alone sort out an accident or ppi.
