This is a SCAM. They called me pretending to be Sky and asking about my broadband. I work in IT so my knowledge is quite broad. What they try and do is get you to visit a website that enables them to take over your machine. They then hold you to ransom to "fix" (release) your machine. Avoid at all costs. Just put the phone down.

They would also send me a new router. Send this or similar numbers to TalkTalk and they will block it from your phone. You could of course play along and tell them to 'wait a few minutes while you switch on your PC'.............then just leave them waiting until they get fed up.

Paid number This number appeared twice in my mobile phone bill as chargeable "Picture or Multimedia Messages". I have no idea who the number belongs to. This mobile phone is a "second phone" which has only been used to make one phone call and send one SMS text.- I've used it for data and local wifi data connections. I'm guessing there's an app or website I've used that somehow is sending these multimedia messages?
