There are some dodgy people going around London fixing stickers to peoples doorbells and front doors that say "24/7 LOCKSMITH 07379 253 353". There have been news reports that these type of stickers are used by criminals to identify which properties can later be burgled. This may or may not be the case with these stickers but any locksmith that advertises by sticking stickers on other peoples property without permission, are untrustworthy in my book. Please be aware this a scam. We originally received an email from Geoff Williams requesting a quotation. The email address is [email protected]. I called Birmingham University direct and was informed that this is a scam.
21 Oct 2021 - I had a voicemail from this number. A recorded message instructing to to call back in relation to National Insurance contributions being behind. It went in to say if I didn’t a bailiff would come to my address and confiscate personal belongings. Scum bags….. Reply

Asked for me by name. I asked who was calling. He said it was in response to my putting my name down for more information and asked me what kind of investing I was looking to do. I answered "where was it that I put my name down?" *click* he hung up immediately. He never called back (that was yesterday) Very dodgy.
