Have seen different reasons of individual calls, just be aware that one number used by the same call centre can be after short period of time used for another purpose. Guy called Russell asked me how my internet was working. Apparently they had reports of problems. I asked him where he was calling from (ID display said International) and he said London.. I said I did not think so, and when he asked why I was saying that, I replied that he sounded like someone from the Sub Continent trying to put on a British Accent. He told me to F*** OFF and hung up.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. just got a call from this number. the man on the other line - someone name john something - said he was calling from "Allied Interstate" about an unpaid debt. I said that he must be mistaken as I don t have any debt. He said "we will see" and asked for personal information. I hung up. Obviously not trustworthy!
