They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. Had a call from this number. Lady stating she was from BT Accounts. When I challenged her she told me to ring 0800 800 153 which is unavailable. Definite hoax / scam for personal details.

Just had call from them. Again hung up when I answered. So tempted to do the same to them repeatedly and therefore block their line in.

Opus harassment calls. Bad company, don t follow banking regulations, don t follow credit card association rules.

This number phoned me suggesting that I could claim ?3750 compensation for a totally bogus, non-existent accident that I never had. It s a scam, and these people are social pariahs. Scum of the earth. Should be thrown out of the country! When I tried to dial the number, it was unrecognised. So, totally bogus. Beware!!!!

Don t answer!! Don t give any details!!! These people called my elderly mother saying that there was a claim for her vehicle insurance - absolute rubbish. Also the insurance is under my father s name so they basically got her mobile number from a database. Luckily I was here and took over the phone call where it became immediately clear that they were fraudsters. Being based in Haywards Heath and with an English telephone agent you d be forgiven for initially thinking that they were legit.

Does she have one of those emergency contact pendants that she accidentally activates?

Phoned continuously over a few weeks. Have barred the number now.
