Didnt answer as I didn’t recognise the number. No voice mail was left. Obviously a nuisance call.

DON'T SPEAK if you don't recognise the number - JUST LISTEN, wait for them to speak first. If the caller just hangs up or only a crackling noise is heard and then hangs up, then congratulations you've just escaped being scammed. Well done!

A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. Very suspicious. Stated that I had incurred debt in several locations. Wanted to offer me a loan, and kept pushing to give a loan. Got angry when I accused them of being a scammer.
Continue to call every day but change the digits slightly, always hang up as i wait for someone to talk when accepting the call.
