THIS NUMBER IS NOT HALIFAX OR THE LLOYDS BANKING GROUP. I PHONED THEM TO CONFIRM. I DON T KNOW WHO IT IS OR WHAT THEY WANT. I WOULDN T PHONE THEM BACK JUST IN CASE. Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.

They called and said it was a confidential matter and wanted my details so I asked for the companies name but refused to give it as this would prejudice the situation so I advise that their is no provision within the DPA 1988 which states that they are not allowed to disclosed their details prior to me disclosing mine.

To be honest anyone idiotic enough to fall for a scam like this deserves to be scammed.
