I was uncomfortable doing so over the phone so he provided lots more info about me but I then said I d prefer to at least discuss with my partner before signing up: cue the hard sell! The girl called 'Kate' mentioned my business name and said she found me via facebook. There was a lot of background noise. Sounded like a call centre but can't be sure. I was cagey on the phone as I was not expecting the call and unfortunately am very aware of prank calls. Company called "Pension report team" wanting to know if I had a frozen pension. Not only did I not acknowledge my name when they rang but I immediately launched into an attack on them. Told them they were a scam company and on the FCA blacklist, at which point the caller said he would remove me from their call list and hung up. Don t be afraid to attack them first!
