The person called about my sky broadband and ask me if I was living at a certain address. When I told her that I moved she said she will update her system but I told her to check with sky because they have my new address. Then she hang up.
They say they are a housing association and ringing regarding the house you are renting!!!

Call centre calling on behalf on UK for UNHCR (I think the company/call centre itself was called something like Angel Charity Services). They were following up on a one-off donation to see if I would set up a direct debit for a regular donation. (The call operator had my details and those of my prior donation.) It seems that Angel itself is paid for by UNHCR as part of a donations drive.
Tells me I should press 1 to cancel Prime membership as I have been charged £95. Nonsense call.

Fraud obtained my ex directory phone number by illegal means, tried to tell me he had everyone's number which is a lie because I have not given this company permission to contact me.
Fake and scam. Some woman with an Indian or Pakistani accent. Bad English. Pretended to be from BT. I told her she was a liar and BT didn't phone people about their broadband. She hung up.

A man with a very strong Indian accent said his name was James, called from this number saying he was from 3 mobile. He said it was regarding an "upgradetion" He didn't ask me to confirm even my name, but asked how much I was paying for my monthly contract. I told him if he was really from 3, he would already have access to that information, he didn't want to talk any more, and hung up on me. Definitely a SCAM!

this number is for a ulez payment but is a con i paid a charge of £17.50 and is on my bank statement as ULEZSERVICE but my ulez charge has not been paid on the receipt is this number every time i call picked up and cut of never have i spoken to any one i would never have known unless i called tfl and asked why they took £17.50 instead of £12.50 where i now have a £80.00 charge so this scam has cost me almost £100.00

Indian man who claimed to be from EE then claimed to be calling on behalf of all major mobile carriers and listed Virgin, O2, Vodaphone etc, demanded repeatedly my phone bill. Sounded hostile and claimed to be offering a 40% discount. The sound of chatter could be heard in the background. Block this number. Scam Indian call centre, says internet is broken and tries to get you to download a remote access computer program so they can take over your computer and then claim a ransom from you. Suggest you keep them hanging on the line as long as possible but don't download anything or give them your details. Just string them along and frustrate them. Then give them a mouthful of verbal abuse when you are ready to hang up. Number was +44 (0) 7444496409.

Came in a scam email pretending I'd ordered a camera from Target Inc. for £129.99 via PayPal. This is the "customer service number" you have to call to cancel the order. Hovering over the email address (Laverne D Lee) reveals it's from [email protected]
