Had a text requesting me to phone this number and quote a reference code almost immediately after moving over £2000 from my HSBC account to another bank but was wary. The money didn't arrive and as others said, this number is not mentioned in the numerous listed on the website. I logged on and accessed live chat who investigated and told me it was genuine so I phoned.
