SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. John my Gregor trying to sell talk ralk bond for Citigroup sounded like a scam

These are the same people who used to call up pretending to be Talk Talk and say that your computer has a virus etc. This time they didn t mention Talk Talk, but the name above. I said I didn t deal with them and they said it was because I used Windows. I said that they weren t Microsoft. They have foreign/asian accents. I have only received calls like this since Talk Talk was hacked. I blocked them with Call Blocker, but they seem to call back using a multitude of numbers.
