I had these stickers on my door a few weeks ago and removed them. Now they?ve come back again and struck a similar looking sticker with the number 07932961616 which is the number of Cricklewood Locksmiths who are known for this kind of advertising and there have been news reports about them in the past.

Recorded message of female claiming to be from Amazon - regarding my non-existent order for £500 and saying a block had been put on it and to press button 2. Didn't address me by name so I ignored it and put phone down.

SCAM. Call received at around 21:30 hours. Caller asked to speak with me by first name. I did not confirm whether I was the person required, but asked who was calling. She did not answer but repeated her question. When I asked again who was calling, the young sounding woman said 'I'm from Virgin.' I then asked what she wanted with the person for whom she had called and she hung up. A bit later I called the number back and the same woman answered with 'hello!' Definitely not from Virgin. Scammer.

Very pushy but convincing girl at the end of the phone - said they were calling because I had entered a competition to win a trip to New York and so was eligible for ten free lines on Euro Millions. I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!

Same as 01367114033. Lady calling herself Paige Peters called me from Crawley, England out of the blue at around 5.30pm. Said she was with the Road Traffic Accidents Department and had information that I had been in an accident. When Iasked who she was and which organisation she called from she just repeated the above line. Kept asking for information about the accident until I hung up on her after a few seconds.
