I am moving from BT because of horrific service. I received a short automated message from BT - stating that they were taking over my line. I called to query this. The guy who answered verified my number, but it was not my number. I told him it was not mine and he abruptly hung up. I called back - the second call handler couldn’t understand the situation and became annoyed and hung up. Man with strong Indian accent called about a supposed accident from someone at my number. I asked who he was calling from, he paused to think for a minute and then said something with accident in the name but it wasn't the same as the 'Accident Legal Advice' one above. Told him I had nothing to do with that company and put the phone down. Clearly a scam.
