Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. It is an automatic voice that claims to be from "your bank" saying it has suspicious activity - asking you to click a button to verify or speak to someone. I hung up. This number called me this morning saying my amazon prime was automatically being renewed at £69.99 so I can enjoy. All automated message you can't say anything. I've rung Amazon and told them so now they are aware.

Recorded message purporting to be from VISA security advising of two debits to my card, and asking my to press a number to speak to them. Lack of customer name or even name of card issuer made call to generic to be legit, so looks like a scam. However since number is a landline looks like the recorded number is also bogus

Didn’t answer when it called. Called back very briefly and it took me an automated reply “Thank you for calling World Lottos…” Scam I imagine.

Called my child's phone number at 1am GMT. We do not know anyone or have any connection with Sri Lanka at all. Scam call I would imagine.
