I said that he must be mistaken as I don t have any debt. He said "we will see" and asked for personal information. I hung up. Obviously not trustworthy!

Had several calls like this previously, never pressed 1 yet ( and still a free citizen, surprisingly) but it's highly likely that it would connect you to a premium line and charge some indecent sum to your phone bill.
Claims you are owed money and then requests you press 5 for more information. Not going to be doing that.
