They pretend to be from talktalk or BT and tell you that your computer has a virus and they need to download remote control software so they can fix it. In reality they are going to try and steal your bank and credit card details.

Just had a very strange phone call to my mobile from 1135181884 a Leeds number telling me he was sending me 10 free goes on the national lottery, I asked what the catch was he said none . A young girl called Alisa, sYing she had information that I had caused a traffic collision, which is ridiculous, she argued that she had been given information detailing my involvement is a road traffic collision , she was argumentative, I hung up as she refused to listen to my words, trying to explain that I did not have a car, nir had I ever been involved in any type of car accident, and as a non driver, how could I be responsible for a car accident? She refused to listen to me, just kept talking over me.

I received a call from Chase Alexander from telephone number 07509701173. The guy had a Liverpool accent and stated I had had a road traffic road which is incorrect. They rang me a couple of times today. I could also hear laughing in the background, not professional and a very bad line. It s clearly a scam.

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. When I refused, he assured me it was ok and asked me to type other commands. Through this site I lost control of the mouse and he downloaded files from my PC. At the end of the download the

This organisation is constantly calling touting for car accident claims and promising being able to claim several thousands of pounds in injury awards. This is inspite of having explained on many occasions that I received no injury. Their sole aim is to encourage people to make fraudulent claims and they in turn pocket fat fees. Such actions only increase motor insurance costs across the country. They should be legally charged with attempted fraud and punished if found guilty.
