Fake car accident call. Did not understand the reasons neither the interest behind this.

This is the number that calls regarding ESA claims and is 100% legitimate. Not answering this call may cause loss of benefits. Always answer the calls, they love to cut benefits for any reason they can think of.

Junk callers from Cardiff (029 area code). Phone did not ring because this number is already blocked by the BT Blacklist (BT Call Protect for landlines). They rang me on a simil...

I regularly get calls from this number. It s mostly an Indian sounding woman on the phone who either tells me that she is calling for the victim, because I should have caused an accident or she tells me that my computer was broken.

This is the email: Hi , Good to read from you again. The property address is 44 Anson Road, Cricklewood, London NW2 3UU. Yes the rent is 1000pounds per month including all bills and council tax. Phoned me several times but as I found out why they called, by reading comments on this site, I have added their number to my list of blocked calls on my Call Guardian phone setup. Now the phone only rings once then automatically cuts them off without me having to do anything other than laugh at them for wasting their time.

No speech when answered, so put reciever down.

Couldn't even get my name right, asked for Mr(First name only). Told them to stop calling me & remove my number from their list before I hung up on them.

Rang my mother . Knew all her details. Pretended to be British Gas and said if she paid 199.99 now she would save money. They even knew her BG home service plan was up for renewal soon. He was so polite and convincing, she gave her bank card details. Luckily Nationwide have done a visa dispute and refunded her. We have phoned trading standards, British gas . Written a cancellation letter to so called company. This needs to go to Watchdog.

Called at 4am the other day, and again and again. Must be an overseas call centre using an area code in seatlle, Yorkshire.

Arrived within email - “thedomainbureau.co.uk” Very suspect email.. looks like a domain renewal scam .. fake invoices for real domain renewals. I phoned the number - said they were a Utility discount company or words to the effect that they give quotes for cheaper utilities.. the woman answering did not recongnise “domain bureau” - which suggests what? Either folk at that business are running (multiple) scams, or denial is how they avoid people confronting them.. “plausible denialbilty”

Refused to accept fault ringing even after told we are listed not to receive unsolicited calls

Cold calling about google adwords. VOIP lines werent working so could understand what bloke was saying. First rule of telephone sales, make sure you can be understood.

Constantly calling asking for my partner on my personal phone, unsure how they ve got my number and his name but it s beginning to fuck me off. I have had daily calls from this number even when I have blocked it!!

This numbers was trying ask me some personal questions in order to find out that if I am entitle to get a refund. I said what refund? Her said my job is to find out weather you are entitle or not. When I refused to answer it , he hung up straight away. Very rude and strange.

National Trust welcome phone call - followed by email sent from [email?protected], which is their legitimate email address (according to the website). Caller was able to confirm when I had joined and my email address. REALLY HELPFUL and polite gentleman on the call who provided useful site/location information suited to my needs.
