Had call from this number saying I had illegal download on my computer(NO WAY). caller said he was from BT and unless I deleted whatever it was it would stop my broadband workin...
Fraud An automated voicemail claiming they were from HMRC and investigating a claim and if I didn't essentially call back I would be arrested. Laughable at best. Don't pickup or call back! Another family member received a similar call and message a few days ago. Block and warn others.

This is BT text service notifying you that soemone has sent a SMS to your home phone number which it will subsequently read if your home phone is not SMS enabled. A pain as it doesn t seem to be limited to reasonable hours. Gets you to lookup "1p address" on google to "prove" this (which is nonsense). Then to access deskroll.com so he can remote access your computer. I led him on a bit to find out what would happen, then told him what i thought of him... so he swore at me and put the phone down! lol

THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM! It was the contact number on a scam email supposedly from 'Kaspersky Total Security', (number given as +???????? (????????????) ????????????-????????????????) email said Kaspersky "sent you an invoice for £539.10 GBP". I am not, and never have been, a customer of Kaspersky, so this was obviously a SCAM!
