I received a call from someone on this number. They claimed to be from BT, I am with Virgin but he claimed that BT support Virgin. He told me that my IP address has been tracked and made public. I cut him off there and told him I thought this was a scam. He said that I could check out his credentials by calling a phone number, I put the phone down.

Apparently this number belongs to a firm that has accused people of having debts when they do not, but just as many people have picked up the call to be greeted by silence. I get calls from criminals trying to get information daily so have stopped answering when I do not recognise the calling number.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8432632xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

Spoke to a lady who informed me that I had popped up on their system as being owed money regarding PPI. She didn't skip a beat before moving straight on to ask if I had had been in any debt management plans or made bankrupt etc. Explained that I was not willing to give personal information and that I had already claimed my PPI back.
