Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. No idea why they called me. I wouldn t offer my details to a random caller asking for them so they wouldn t say why they are calling. My advice is to challenge their claim who they are. Websites, letters and phone calls prove nothing. They ll soon go away if they re not getting anywhere.
Call came up on my mobile, around 9:15pm, but I didn’t hear the call, no message left. Late in the evening for scammers in the U.K., surely.

Who called? I Haven't a clue, these days If the number calling is International, unobtainable or withheld, the answer machine kicks in, and asks them to leave a message. They never do... Nuisance calls are now down to one or two per week.. QED

Called and asked for Edward. I receive lots of calls for this mysterious Edward. Curiously a day later I receive a number of unwanted 'You have won....' calls
SCAM - pretends to be family member whose phone has been damaged. They then say urgent bill needs paying but cant pay via temporary phone so can you pay and they will pay you back tomorrow. I went along with it and they gave bank details which I didn't screenshot fast enough as I was angry but police would love to receive them if anyone gets them. When I exposed them as liars they gave my name and address with the threat of being round in 5 minutes!!!! Reported to police and action fraud.
Dialed my number but dead line when answered.rd time it has called me now, never anyone on other end.
