SCAM. It was an automated call with a blokes voice saying it was Sandra from Amazon calling about suspicious account activity and giving me an option of buttons to press to confirm activity or speak to someone.
rang asking for my 98 year old mother, fortunately I answered. Said from "energy Trust" based in Hereford Talked about renewable energy,solar panelsetc.Said not interested twice and when I asked him to remove phone number from list he hung up.

This individual chose to ring my house number asking for a club. The number was a business number previously but we haven t had nuisance calls on this scale before. SCAM. An Asian sounding man who called himself Simon called me to say my washing machine warranty had run out. Seeing as our washing machine is about 15 or more years old I do not doubt it. I told him not to try and scam me as I had had these sort of calls before, and hung up. I have since blocked the number.
