This was a recorded message to say illegal activity had been on my internet which would be cut off in 24 hours. I was to press 1 to speak to someone. Clearly an attempt to get into my computer so cut it off.

I have received many calls over the last few days & they annoyingly hang up when the call is answered. I wish the phone companies wouldn't sell our numbers!!

Had numerous calls from 01618263541 and very similar numbers despite being signed up for TPS. Not answered any of them and added 01618263* to my true call unit s blocking list so no more can get through.

I am the first to comment but I notice I m the 176th person who has tried to find out of this is a dodgy scam/marketing call. I would say the chances are quite high that it is. Let your telephone do the work. If there is no voicemail left then there is no urgency to speak with them!

Got a call from this number today saying: "Ray, this is Andy from XXXX Police station. Give me a call back as soon as you get this, 02082476653" My name is not Ray and I have no case with the police of any kind.

Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. I blocked the number using my CPR Callblocker gadget (there are many alternatives). I pay for my phone, it s for me, what gives anyone other than me the right to use it to harass me? Spoke to a guy who help me and my husband get mortgage protection after the call a week or so later a lady called and helped us put it into trust for our daughter.
