Had a message left on home telephone asking me to call 01613541022 regarding serious law suit relating to HM Revenue and Customs. Rang this morning and man answered by saying Hello not company name. I gave him my telephone number and he had my name. Said they had looked at the tax from 2006-2016 and owed £1,498. I needed to pay within the hour or a lawsuit would be actioned against me. I got the call from this number yesterday at 22:14 pm,the guy said hello and asked me if I speak English,I said yes,who are you and call ended.
I said that I charged for taking part in surveys. He said it would only take 5-10 minutes, so I said at my professional rate that was £25. He said so over £100 per hr and I said - yes, for cold calling surveys. He wished me a good day and I wished him the same. I then blocked the number.
