My 81 year old father was targeted and asked to insure his 4 year old Indesit washing machine. Unwittingly he set up a d.debit which he cancelled the next day, with the bank, when he realised he already had cover. He rang Appliance Serve and told them too, he was asked to put it in writing which he did. He is now getting calls about his non payment and they are threateneing court action as they said they hadn t received a phone call or letter. Total fraudsters targeting the elderly. #scammers

SCAM FRAUD. I got a call from a 07 mobile number prior to this call. Both of them is an automated message saying a letter from HRM Revenue was sent to you but was returned. Legal action will be taken against you, press 1 to bla bla bla. I didn’t even bother to listen to the rest because there is no reason for HRM Revenue to contact me. I am a solicitor. I received a call 28.7.17 at 11:33am about an accident I did not have soliciting that I in effect make a claim. The call is obviously deceit/fraudulent based, and based on weaving a fabrication to make false claims. When the caller realised I had both a brain and was honest they hang up before I could chew the callers head off metaphorically.

SCAM: BT SCAMMER ... Indian/Pakistani ? man called to say my BT service Lloyds Bank Direct Debit needed verifying, I played along and gave false numbers on my debit card (to see how far they wished to go), they already new my name , address, phone number. Well, actually I don't bank at Lloyds anyway!, they then asked for my DOB, so I gave a false one of course. Then they offered me a 50% discount for 5 years on my account (that's mighty generous what). I was handed over to a CLOSER manager who said my card
