Silent call from unknown Wolverhampton number
These tried to ring my o2 phone today 04-05-2023 ive reported it to o2 as i know nobody from the liverpool area so they have no reason to be trying to call my mobile I answered it and they slammned the phone down on me but i won't be attempting to ring them back From today our prime minister has made all cold calls illegal so im hoping these types are stopped but not holding my breath because they think they are the law and can do as they want!

SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. The bank transaction shows as Highgames.Online and the number +44753717396 4691792... which the first part I thought might be a UK phone number, hence my post here. They call me every day around about 1130. Sometimes once, sometimes a couple of times.. No one ever says anything, it just cuts. this is 100% EDF Energy. The last time they called, whoever was calling kept me on hold for a few seconds and I could hear his/her colleague reading a sales script "Thank you for choosing EDF Energy, I just need to read out blah blah blah"...

Spoke to a lady who informed me that I had popped up on their system as being owed money regarding PPI. She didn't skip a beat before moving straight on to ask if I had had been in any debt management plans or made bankrupt etc. Explained that I was not willing to give personal information and that I had already claimed my PPI back. She asked if I had received less than £1200 as that would be why I had appeared on their system. I informed her that we both knew that was rubbish and just marketing spiel
