Automated call - long pause, then an automated message saying my internet company had been trying to contact me and that they were going to cut the service off. Wrong on all accounts, and very annoying especially as it is a UK number. I thought this was illegal now?

SCAM / SPAM claims he works in the army but has stolen the pictures and videos of a Scottish guy who does infact work in the army but it’s not this guy. May go by the name of Andrew Harrison or any other name now but the pictures he’s using is of a brown haired, blue eyed tattooed guy who works as a para. Gives to story of wife died, or girlfriend cheated on him with best friend or that his dad died in the army and left his mother to bring him up.

Call centre with lot of background noise, delay in acknowledging I'd answered phone. Scam call bt technical, my internet service is compromised by several people, they'll show me how to remove them if I let them have access to my devices. Don't think so!

Its a trigger call for a malware scam. If you have the malware on your mobile overnight your phone will dial a premium rate number for up to 12 hours !!

When I told him twice I was not interested he became abusive and started telling me to fuck off he had other customers waiting to make money and to stop wasting his time. Caller ID said it was Gourmet Burger however the person that spoke sounded like they were in a call centre reading off a script. When I asked them to repeat what they had said they hung up.
