An Asian male going by the name of "Mark Bradford" rang is claiming our broadband was going to be disconnected due to suspicious stuff happening on our homehub. He gave me a BT identification number and the phone number to their call centre, when I informed him I was going to verify his credentials, he told me to ring via mobile and that if we hang up the landline, he'll disconnect the Internet then hung up. We rang BT Support who verified this was a scam and no intention to disconnect the broadband. Be saf

I've just received a cold call from someone that claimed to be from Nationwide. They had my name, and asked for my address and PASSWORD. If this was a genuine call it is an outrage that they asked for my password during an unsolicited cold call.
Calls on a mobile to discuss a loan. Asking who energy supplier.. Hang up and a call from a landline will come through.
As I was waiting for a call from London I called back and I got an answering machine from 'xxx & General' (unintelligible), saying that if you want to stop further calls you need to call somewhere else

Rang at 21:45 (!), caller had an American accent, asking if I wanted to invest. A fairly bad tempered conversation ensued where he refused to state his company name or how he got my number. It's a scam number, people.
