I didn’t answer but would like to know who it is.

Tried to claim I had been involved with a RTA, would not confirm where they got my number from.

Unknown so ignored. Didn't leave voicemail which normally means either scam or marketing

Irish lad said he was calling about my frozen pension. i played along and made up stuff about a fictitious pension which he VERIFIED. When said I was just digging out the file to get the pension reference number he hung up, l am a pension administrator so can baffle them with terminology. Proves these calls are a scam.

Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Suspicious, also nasty if it is a scam, as I am now worried about whether or not the police are trying to contact me for genuine reasons. BEWARE...I rang this number thinking it was my local Nat West branch. I just wanted to transfer some money but this was their call centre and I was charged the princely sum of £4.43 on my phone bill for the privilege. Part of this goes to Bt and the rest to Nat West. Never again.
