unsolicited call from this number, accented english type voice, "hello, good afternoon, I am calling you from the windows technical department .........." I told him a few truths in dirty english and hung up. had these calls for more than 5 years though not from a "local" number before. I remember once talking to a friend in usa on skype and he got a phone call ~ he asked me to wait a minute and I heard him in the background ... "what my computer is calling you for help?" LOL scamming bar stewards.
This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range 011326500xx just with last digits different, which is a common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. They are reported with different scope, but mostly call centres work for multiple clients. I tried to call the number back but no luck, number not in service - probably one-way gateway of the call centre not allowing inbound calls so you are not able to call them back. This number called my son yesterday and today; he's only 18 and new to all this so yesterday he brought the phone down to me to talk to them. As soon as I said "Can I help you" they hung up. Before that, they said they were O2, asked how he was, then asked if he was over 18 and in the UK. Now if they genuinely were O2, they would surely have the answers to those questions already.
