Have been called twice already today. Have not answered either call. They called three times the other day, answered twice,a vague voice eventually answered but very strange accent would not really communicate!!

The number is fake. London numbers don t start with a 1 after the city code of 020, although there is a real payday loan company called Lending Stream.
"Orlando" called from "You Compare" requesting to speak to Mr [Mobile Phone Owners Surname" regarding life insurance policy which they are reviewing (I don t have a life insurance policy). Advised that he is based in Dakar, Bangladesh and that they use an automatic dialler with my telephone number being obtained from an opt-in database. This number calls and claims to be investors. Very rude individuals who call and push you to invest and they are so rude when you decline. They keep changing numbers but it is the same network of people - they are using different numbers to call - I have already blocked at least 10 other numbers they have used to contact me- stay well clear of them please!! If anyone has any idea how to stop them from calling please advise.

I am getting called by an asian/indian person nearly every day usually says they are from U Benefit or Benefit U. Always asks my age etc and when i say i am fed up with the calls from the company he swears they have not rung me before and then if I say yes they have he starts swearing before slamming the phone down.

BEWARE THIS NUMBER IS DANGEROUS AND A SCAM! Female Indian Voice with the usual "How are you today Sir? Then continues with I am phoning from Virgin Technical Department to advise that you have an internet problem....." [I'm not even on Virgin but decided to kid her along anyway and waste as much of her time as possible]. She then tries to make me log into my computer - which I PRETENDED to do, trying to waste as much of her time as possible..... eventually she became annoyed and hung up!
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 11430342xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with utility services - gas and electric mostly, energy comparison, and as usually smart meters. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
