SCAM: Pseudo automated female voice claiming to be from BT stating that my BT landline and internet connection will be cut off, but speak to our advisor by pressing 1 on the telephone who will sort it out lol Disconnected and banned number.

Is was getting near the cut off time for the post office, and the laser printer had decided that its drum was reaching the end of its life leavening splodges on the pages. SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.

I missed their first call yesterday, but answered today and they said they were calling about an accident I ve been involved in recently (with an upward tone at the end - as though they were asking this as a question)... I just said "errr, no - I ve not been involved in an accident for a long while" and they hung up on me. Very untrustworthy - don t bother answering.

01583 364051 this number called me. I answered somebody laughed and said yes then hung up! Guess what I've now blocked there number!
SCAM - addressed me by my name and verified my address. The lady basically said that my fibre-glass wool loft insulation is no longer valid and they in my area tomorrow doing surveys in the neighbouring roads. I said that I was in the property business and I have not heard of this and I would need to look into it. And guess what he phone went dead. How rude, not even a goodbye.
Keep getting calls from this number and then the silent treatment 4-5 times a day driving me insane grrrr
