The person on the other end told me they were ringing to review my mortgage. When I told her I was uncomfortable discussing it over the phone, she got aggressive and rude. She told me my husband had requested a callback which I knew was a lie because he doesn t deal with this stuff over the net or phone!! when I said that he wouldn t have requested a callback she was really abusive and before she could hang up I told her how rude she was!! Fuming!

They are parading on the dating site Plenty of Fish as a man called Joel, aged 59 (whilst the pictures are clearly of a younger man) who is meant to have a graduate degree and be an engineer working in London. Because I am suspicious due to being catfished 3 times already on this site, I asked him for his number so that he could send me a selfie. When entered into WhatsApp it came up as a business number. PPI/Bank Charges claim company. Latest one is Endowment Policies. Aside from just hanging up, I find the best course of action with these guys is to just lie to them. Give them made-up details so they waste their time with fruitless nonsense. Tell them you paid PPI on a Swiss bank account with ?10m in funds given to you by a Nigerian prince. Keep calm and tell absurd lies, and this kind of call actually starts to be a lot of fun!

This number and the following number; 07404235048 keeps phoning me (so far 5 times today) and a recorded message says that they are from BT and we have had a security breach with our phone line and broadband and that they are going to turn us off and trying to get us to press a button to respond to them.
