Company trying to "review" my life insurance. I tried to politely tell him that I was not interested but he wouldn't take no for an answer. Ended up putting the phone down and now blocked. Had a call from similar company a couple of weeks ago too.
Called back in answer to message left saying I had a sub renewal taking place. Know nothing about it! Mumbled answer to call. Clearly a dodgy number.

Its a trigger call for a malware scam. If you have the malware on your mobile overnight your phone will dial a premium rate number for up to 12 hours !!
If this is such an important service why don't they leave a message with a contact number, or do they expect you to sit next to your phone 24hrs a day?

Claimed to be my local energy advisor, for once they are local to me. Asked if I was the homeowner, when asked where he got the information from, said there was a data base of all work carried out at this address. If there is then I did not authorise my data being entered or used. GDPR? Suspect they wanted to carry out an "energy survey" and would come up with a very expensive improvement package, which probably would not be needed.
The person said they where from 118 live directory, he asked for the business owner which I am not so I said no I’m afraid he won’t be in untill friday at that point he hung up. I did 14713 and called back to get an automated American voice saying it was utility direct. Scam.
This number has sent me a bogus text to get in contact re; a direct debit. Do not call this number!

this company is using loop holes in the system to pay people less than minimum wage by saying your self employed. Their paying people less than minimum wage. That is wrong when your going out there working in the snow 10AM - 9PM and 10AM till 11PM on road trips.. in the snow thats including every saturday (6 days of the week) you have people working these long hours and sometimes they only get paid ?20-?50-?100. Caller ID said it was Gourmet Burger however the person that spoke sounded like they were in a call centre reading off a script. When I asked them to repeat what they had said they hung up.
