Because it was a local number I called it back and got some garbled message regarding Scottish Power. two minutes later my husband received a call from the same number with the same reaction. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2038684xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing, accident chasers, PPI claims, "car accident which was not your fault". Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new, new scope, or still the same story?

Had a call from here today and the guy at the other end 'supposedly' was ringing on behalf of his father after worktops (I design and fit kitchens) He left no number but wanted to know what worktops I supply and whether his father would need to come to me.
