Kept calling frequently and hanging up or dead line upon answer - finally got a female asking to speak with DH about previous Boxing news subscription and he wasn t interested. She says "well I ll call back" before I could pleasantly tell her to remove the number she hung up. Still keep ringing and Sky scandalously want to charge £3.50 per month to bar it. Saw another user s helpful comment to change the call ID so we know to ignore it, so thanks for that bit of advice.

These people call me at least 3 times a day, and it has been going on for months. The ask me if I have had any PPI in the past, they go on and on, then when I finally convince them that I dont, they then ask if I would be interested in wiping off 70% of my debts! Again, when I say no, they persist until I get rude with them. SCAM Asian caller. Has been calling repeatedly. When I challenged him about the constant calls and asked for details of his company, he put me on hold and then hung up on me. Not to be trusted.
Just took one of these calls. After reading from a script about a survey, they were polite enough to ask "Are you ready for the first question?". I replied "No!". They hung up :)

SCAM The call was a 'real' person in a busy call centre purporting to be from Amazon reporting that someone had bought a £45 voucher through my account which they thought was suspicious. I told them I would check my account separately and contact Amazon myself if I saw anything untoward and I hung up. Needless to say there was no gift card purchase on my Amazon account.

They phoned twice Fri 10/10/14. First call I answered but the line was dead i.e. Silent call. Second time I ignored in then 1471 said it was 01702 318818. Like "fed up" below when I rang it was a short message saying they were Independent Market Research then the call was cut off. Complained to FCO but they say there is nothing they can do at the moment.
