Go along with it, make the appointment and when the salesman turns up tell him you are not interested and have wasted their time because they are wasting yours by ignoring the law and cold calling you. They hate having their time wasted This has worked for me and gives you a great feeling of having got them back.

I had another call on hold as I didn't know the number and wanted to make sure it wasn't something important. When I stopped the girl and explainied that I had another call on hold and I couldn't take her call she said "what did you do that for?" and hung up! - cheeky scouse bi*ch.
