This is a company called Secure Homecare Ltd, trading as 247 Assist. They purport to provide homecare services such as pendant alarms etc. Once they have an elderly persons phone number they ring regularly, approxiately once every 2 months and sell a further item - usually in the region of about £135- £150.00. We were able to obtain a refund for the last one sold completely unecessarily to my mother - it took about a month to get a refund. We asked them to ensure that they removed details from their databas

As usual, I acted as though the call was expected and asked them to hold the line whilst I went to get my book which has all the details relating to the incident in it. They waited 7 and a half minutes before hanging up - not even close to the record of 23 minutes. Poor efford. 4/10.
