They were not very helpful or interested, did say when they last called me, which didn't match these calls, so I said will they investigate this number and the reply was, Oh there are a lot of calls made making out they are from the Halifax, just use number on the back of your card. SCAM. Fraud. Automated voice in perfect English claiming to be from HMRC. Wants you to pay unpaid fines and fees NOW. The voice is strong, demanding and incessant. Classic fraud. Hang up. Block the number. Report to the Police, if possible.
