Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - scam PPI calls mainly. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Female recorded message, started with 'Congratulations, you have won £1000'. Hung up - have not entered any competitions, no reason for some recorded message to call me and tell me I've won something. Called the number back, got what sounded like Dutch-accented English (male) recorded message to say 'If you can hear this message, then the call was successful'.
