When I answered the call the guy couldn't talk very good English, too myself, he then said that he's from citizens advice bureau and has found out information that I've got a lot of debt and they wish to help me dispose of the debt I then asked how does citizens advice know I have debt when I have not and then I said to them citizens advice do not cold call you you have to make appointments to go and see them so this is a scam.

I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

Be careful, I was called with an offer from ‘Currys Carphonewarehouse’ to reduce my mobile sim cost while upgrading the data and minutes allowance and the scammers already had a lot of my personal information including the monthly cost of my current sim plan.
