Called my elderly mother, said from fraud team, saying someone had withdrawn a reasonable sum form her bank account and they needed her to give them her PIN number.......sounds like they were perhaps slightly aggressive when she said she wouldn t give her PIN to anyone and they shouldn t be asking for it. Asked her if she used online banking to which she replied that s none of your business, they kept saying from fraud team - she hung up and reported to her bank, the police and her phone provider.

Pretended they were TSB, and that someone tried to take out 250 to pay Apple, they put the transaction on hold and now need to generate me a new card, new sort code and new account number. Called him out on it by saying will visit branch to sort out as never heard of anyone changing a sort code before...I am guessing he would have asked me to verify all those details in order to change them. Scam, scam, scam as soon as I said that he hung up.
