Silent call Silent call, 0153 dialing code. 01530327117. We have had 4 calls today supposedly from Amazon Prime, all from different numbers, but with 0153 dialing code. Recorded female voice. Something about being charged £79.99, and pressing 1 to speak to a service manager. We don't have Amazon Prime. We are ex directory, and with TPS.

Started by asking for my wife. Told her she wasn't in. Then confirmed my name, said he was offering a call blocker for unrecognised calls for free. Mentioned that I paid for my phone bill by direct debit (who doesn't?) and then listed a load of banks, none of them mine. When I laughed he got annoyed and asked why. When I told him I didnt have any banks of that name, did he just want my sort code and account number, he was talking over me and telling me to listen!!! Cut him off. Be warned.

Many calls during the day. Some unanswered. When I did get to speak to someone, they asked for Mr John living at a completely different address. I told them it wasn t me and they hung up immediately. On subsequent calls, I kep asking them to stop as I am not mr John. They just hang up. I m on TPS and ex-directory.

I missed the call. On returning the call I was directed to an answering machine which stated that, "this is a marketing call, I am sorry we have missed you..". At least they are honest. I don t know the name of the company.

Good mannered caller claiming to represent a company calleD BLOCKCHAIN.
This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!
Call center, supposed to be calling from Manchester but sound like they come from quite a bit further away.
Just wow!!! I advised him I wouldn t be purchasing any extra advertising and he spoke to me like absolute crap. He said, "Did I say you had to have any extra, NO" "I will now remove all trace of your company from bing.com, Bye" and slammed the phone down. I certainly hope he doesn t represent Bing.com or Infoserve.
Called on Saturday morning by someone with an Indian asian accent tel no 0808 1450360. He claimed to be from Halifax bank and said that the bank needed me to discuss serious matters concerning my account... This is a scam number. pretending to be from the HMRC stating that fraud has been committed under your name and that if you don't press 1 a warrant will be issued to arrest you. This is a scam do not press 1 or engage with them and absolutley do not share any of your bank details or make any payments. Just block the number on your phone and share the knowledge of this scam with your friends and family.
