Said she was conducting a survey for Herts council. Told her I was registered with Telephone preference and she had no idea what I was talking about. Then I hung up but will advise my council that their ‘survey’ is an unwelcome and unnecessary waste of money.
Fraud and Bitcoin scam. They present very nice case that you are owed money back from the Market Cube and trick you into paying money into Binance.com account under your name. Then they transfer money to another bitcoin account that they say is yours and actually has nothing to do with you. They convince transfers need to be done to confirm your identity and so that they can pay you money back without suspicion of money laundering. Absolute scam.

Recorded msg purporting to be from HMRC warning of fraud on my tax account. Press 1 to speak to adviser. Msg. Sent to mobile no. Not believed to be genuine.
Pretended to be working with the government to stop unwanted calls,wanted to send a device to plug into the phone to stop the calls,at that point I said no way would I do that,she then hung up.
Fraud pretending to be bank security stating that someone is trying to use my credit card and asking me to press 1. Put the phone down and call block the number. Somehow they are using what sounds like the same voice as my bank system.

Invested 215k USD worth of bitcoin with a Binary trading company. after some few months of our partnership my total earnings from my invested capital was able to grow to 840k USD within a couple of weeks. SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.
ASKED CALLER HOW HE GOT MY EX DIRECTORY NUMBER. TOLD HIM HE SHOULDN T HAVE IT , TO WHICH HE REPLIED SO WHAT? AND HUNG UP!!

Many calls during the day. Some unanswered. When I did get to speak to someone, they asked for Mr John living at a completely different address. I told them it wasn t me and they hung up immediately. On subsequent calls, I kep asking them to stop as I am not mr John. They just hang up. I m on TPS and ex-directory.

This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!
