This number rung mid afternoon. I was upstairs up a ladder painting and didn t answer. If it s PPI it s a scam - I never had it and my name couldn t possibly be on any list.

Continually calling my mobile, claiming to be SC Legal based in Manchester, but number showing in my caller display (01444) is area code for Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Phone calls encourage me to claim compensation following a vehicle accident. Despite telling them I have no cause to claim compensation they refuse to remove my number from their calls list. Had a cold calI from this number today. I answered the phone, could hear voices in the background. Nobody replied and the line went dead after about 30 seconds. I rang the number back and found out that it belongs to Logic Guard Insurance. I told them that I am registered with the TPS and asked them to take my number off their database. Have called at least once per day, sometimes more for the last two months. Asolutely sick of being called by this number, evn though blocked on my phone. When will something be done about these scamming parasites. Never answered after reviewing this number as unfamiliar. They should be shut down.

Indian callers are using this number to scam people - acting as BT officials and urging the people they call to switch on their computers so they can either fix your internet connection or help you get rid of a virus. Being extremely PC-savvy, I challenged the caller, at which point they disconnected the call.
