This number is just a routing number for sales calls from abroad. Call themselves Npower direct but this same crowd call from many numbers and sound like a call centre in India routing through various numbers. I have also had them routing through what look like London numbers. Web searches show this is unlikely to be anything to do with Npower.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers, phishing for bank account details). Seems to be some call centre calling with fake PPI claims/ Industrial accidents/ worked in a noise environment, they have some database of phone numbers with basic details and then they just try, asking about accidents you have had (should have..) in the past, but it was nonsense in my case. Just a telemarketing... Blocking this number.

Safe number - NHS LOTHIAN – It’s a generic number that all appointment/surgery offices for the RIE, WGH, Astley Ainsley, Liberton, Chalmers, Lauriston etc hospitals all around Lothian use when trying to contact patients. It unfortunately doesn’t accept incoming calls and so the offices don’t know that you have tried to phone.
